These industrial PT100 probe assemblies feature a BS EN60751:1996 Class A PT100 element with a stainless steel sheath, terminated with a sub-miniature aluminium protection head. The standard probes have a rigid stainless steel tube sheath, and have an operating range of -30 to +250°C. A 1/2" BSPT process fitting is supplied as standard and the probe length includes approx. 12mm of this tapered thread. Refer to the note below the to-order table for details on how to specify G1/2 or G1/4 process threads.
These probes are also available with a mineral insulated (MI) cable sheath which is semi-rigid and may be formed to shape to suit many applications. The MI sheathed probes have the additional benefit of an extended operating temperature range of -200 to +650°C when ordered with Class B accuracy elements.
Standard construction of either style is 3-wire, for pricing of 2 or 4 wire configurations and 1/3 or 1/10 DIN accuracy elements, contact our sales department.
